Sunday Scribblings: Rooted

Growing Deep, Growing Strong

When I hear the word rooted,
I can't help but associate it with growth.
It signifies being grounded.
It connotes being nourished.
It represents the making of a strong foundation.

I believe I am rooted
in a family with a strong value
in a community with love
and in the Word of God

As my roots grow deeper
and my body grows stronger
my branches will expand
flowers will bloom
and I will bear fruit
in season

So the bearing of fruit in season is not having a child? What is it for you?

Patois...I have two kids..so bearing a fruit includes having a child....
I'm not quite sure what your comment meant or meant to ask... I'll visit your blog to try to clarify...
