Then Sings My Soul : My Father's Eyes

When I first plunged into blogging, I didn't have a clue that "blog name" matters a lot. When blogger asked what I'd like to name my blog, I thought - well, this is going to be my online journal where I will write my thoughts when I am down looking up or high on Spirit looking down finding someone I can help or just looking within to reflect. I thought of the bird's eyeview, then the worm's eyeview so I decided "Liza's Eyeview" would be appropriate. Later on, when I started visiting other blogs, I felt kinda ashamed of my blog name because it sounded corny. Why didn't I choose a witty blog name like "Rocks In My Dryer" or a fun on like "I Should Be Folding My Laundry"? Liza's Eyeview - yikes, its not hip at all. But then I remembered one of my favorite songs when I first became a Christian called "My Fathers Eyes". That appeased me. I adopted it to be my blog theme song. I thought, this blog can be used by God, and this can also be my ministry - I think that's ok. Little did I know that God will honor that little prayer of mine to use this blog and my blogging for His glory. So whenever I sing My Father's Eyeview I get teary eyed knowing that this Liza's Eyeview means I have a bit of My Father's Eyes.
