Monday morning... I tried to trick my mind to "have a better attitude" about Monday mornings, but honestly I am still feeling anxious.
Last night I started reading my journal and looking back at God's work in my life. Looking back worked a little bit as I have seen how God has carried me through many difficulties in life. The verse above was written in my journal in January 2000. I found it to be very comforting so I posted in here.
Yesterday in our Bible Study we talked about "getting into the Word of God". I have committed my self to reading the Bible and meditating on it daily. I love reading the Bible but the busyness of our lives pull me away from it. But then again I know that's a shallow excuse. Busyness is no excuse for not reading the Word of God and spending some quite moments with God.
The video below is one of my favorite songs when I first became a Christian. I bought a "cassette" of this and played it over and over and over again. I am glad to have found a YouTube video of this last night.
