You'll Never Walk Alone

Sunday's Scribbling's prompt this week is walk. Although I've already scribbled something for it, the heart of my thoughts on WALK is really my walk with Christ. If you've noticed on my labels, a big part of this blog is labeled "Christian Walk". I like the term walk when it comes to life. Living on this earth is like a very long walk - we get tired sometimes, we get weary, but there are also good times together with the bad times...

In Psalm 23 the psalmist says "Ye, though I walk in the valley in the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me...".

Walking with Jesus is an adventure. I didn't think about it then, but when I think about it now, the label "Christian Walk" that I'm using in this blog is so fitting, because here you can read about my failures as well as my triumph, my fears and worries as well as my hopes and dreams....

Remember, when God is with you, you'll never walk alone....

Here's the lyrics of that song:

When you walk through a storm
hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.

Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never, ever walk alone.

Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never, ever walk alone.

I walked today for the first time. I mean, really walked. But this is a fine topping to that theme. Thank you as usual.

Thanks for posting this song. I really love it. I often find myself singing this song when I am walking alone in the field (for my fieldwork) or through a lonely path.

Tho singing this always brings some tears into my eyes but it never fail to lift my spirit up.
