Morning

I am an early riser and morning is my most productive time of the day.  However, lately I am noticing that I am spending way too much time on Facebook in the morning instead of doing an even more important "to do's" such as my quite time and exercise.

I really need to reign my thoughts and improve my habits.  I am not against Facebook.  In fact, I think if used in moderation, and the right way, it is a good thing.  But when I stop dong it on top of my other priorities, then I know something is wrong.

This week I decided to "take a leave of absence" from my personal Facebook. Since social media is part of my job, I can't totally give it up and go dark. I can't totally unplug.  But I can minimize.

I have this book called ONE THING ... I bought it about 3 years ago. I attempted to apply it to my life but I fell short. But it's not too late to try again.

I love this random thought of blogging a.k.a. journaling online. I am not sure how many subscribers still gets notified when I post but it does not really matter. I hope you get blessed by this randomness.

Logging off now to read the Bible, pray, write on my prayer journal and then walk for exercise.

By the way, while I am writing this ... there are hundreds of birds tweeting on the tree in front of our house. The trees around our cul-de-sac is home to hundreds (literally hundreds) of birds.  I will count listening to these tweets a blessing. Nature's concert I will say.  Aloha.
