Why Blog?

I e-mailed a link to one of my best friends who do not blog but is very dear to me she totally support what I do. She was touched by the post (the link I sent) and wrote me back a tender touching reply. Part of the reply is her observations on blogging and she was on target about it:

... blogging seems like such a wonderful outlet, you give and you get back. i just love reading the pages you've recommended. those women are funny and strong and real. it's like finding long lost friends. friends who really know you, because you share a common thread. it's amazing. i don't know how you guys find the time, though? ;)

To answer her question - I wake up at 4AM to blog ;)

Kelsey at My Sweet Life wrote about "why she blogs" and she also asked the readers why they blog. It's quite interesting - go there to snoop :) (ahem, read)

I want to write a post on why I blog. I guess that will be my Tackle for Today (Tuesday).

I have a story to tell. Maybe no one reads or listens, but it is who I am and blogging is my release.

I'm so glad you were touched by my post. Thank you for sharing it. I totally agree with you that it's like finding a piece of yourself in another's blog. It's the tie that binds us into a community.

i like what your friend said about blogging. so true. it's been a blessing for me.

i also like what t y v terpening said in her comment above. i think for many of us, we have a story to tell. the fact that others read it and comment is the icing on the cake.

Blogging for me is one way to keep my sanity. Hahaha.. You know what I mean...

I can't imagine a lonelier world than one without the privilege of putting your thoughts into words and reading others' at the same time through blogs.

God is so good...

And Liza, thanks for your prayers. You are always a blessing!
