O Love That Will Not Let Me Go
by George Matheson, 1882
O Love that wilt not let me go,
I rest my weary soul in thee;
I give thee back the life I owe,
that in thine ocean depths its flow
may richer, fuller be.O Light that followest all my way,
I yield my flickering torch to thee;
my heart restores its borrowed ray,
that in thy sunshine’s blaze its day
may brighter, fairer be.O Joy that seekest me through pain,
I cannot close my heart to thee;
I trace the rainbow through the rain,
and feel the promise is not vain,
that morn shall tearless be.O Cross that liftest up my head,
I dare not ask to fly from thee;
I lay in dust life’s glory dead,
and from the ground there blossoms red
life that shall endless be.

I LOVE this song! I have been searching for his or a similar accompaniment for this song. It is just too awesome! I also like "No More Night."
God bless.
It's hard to submit! I love David Phelps. Glad you joined us.
This song is such a wonderful reminder of how, no matter how strong we may think we are the Lord is stronger and in control. And that no matter how weak we feel, he can comfort and strengthen us.
Thanks for the blessing today.
Thank you so much for sharing your heart and this beautiful song with us!
Submission is tough - it's the "S" word right now in my life! Grrr! This song was beautiful and the video touching to see how those words affected others... Thanks for sharing!
Blessings!
