Sunday Scribbling: Compose

Someday

Someday
I'd like to be able to compose
A music for my King
A melody for my Savior

Then I would express
how much I love Him
how much I adore Him

Someday
I'd like to be able to compose
A symphony for my Lord
A song of praise for my God

Then I would echo
The beauty of His grace
And the joy of His delight

Someday
I'd like to be able to compose about
The radiance of His glory
The splendor of His majesty

Then I would bow down and worship
Down on my knees
With my hands on my face
Or face down
Because He is worthy

Someday
And that someday may be
Today

Liza, what a loving poem that I found myself thinking of as a great worship song. Well done!

For sure, a testament to faith. Nicely written.
