Did Someone Say Mosquito Net?

BiteBack

I read from Boomama that today, April 25, is the World Malaria Day. In connection with that, Compassion International launched a campaign to help some people (like some kids in Africa) protect themselves from this deadly sickness. If you want more information on how to participate and help make a difference in someone's life, just click the logo "Bite Back" on top of this post and it will take you to Boomama's blog and you'll read there how you can help. Let's help make a difference.

* Those of you who know me personally know that I am addicted to "mosquito netting" at night (that's another post). I hate mosquitos with passion. Who doesn't? Please, help those kids now. Go to Bite Back site and Boomama's blog. Thanks.

Hats off to CI which is doing great work. I have recently moved to the US from Africa and can testify that malaria is a huge problem. However, aid organisations are doing a great job in supplying nets and spraying the homes to comabt the disease.

I'm with you on the whole 'hating mosquitoes with a passion' bit. But sleeping under a net seems hardly comfortable, I got a mosquito trap and it works like a charm against those pesky flies! Cool video of how it works: http://www.mosquitomagnet.com/advice/how-it-works/how-it-works-demo

I recommend you get one, you'll wonder how you ever got along without it!
