The Lord Is Rock Eternal

Our "Ohana Group" at church took on a project of decorating a Sunday School classroom to make it fun and appealing to the kids who go there and learn about Jesus. One of the main feature of this room is the rock climbing wall we installed for the kids.

Karen, our ohana leader, excitedly told us that she has a Bible verse perfect to print on top of the rock wall. It goes like this:

"Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is Rock Eternal" - Isaiah 26:3

I thought that was a pretty cool verse to put on top of the rock climbing wall. When I came home, I kept on thinking about that verse. It sounds very very familiar....

Then I realized, it's the same verse the Lord gave me this year when at one point Bradley and I had this fear that his cancer might be re-occuring. I went to our computer desk, and there it is - the verse I typed up the day I was praying to God to grant us grace by making Bradley's testings come out negative. There it is on the wall of our computer desk the verse:

"You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast because he trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord is Rock Eternal" - Isaiah 26:3

This week, another "crisis" came up in our family life. It was unexpected, something that I didn't anticipate would happen. Once again, this verse will brings comfort and peace... as I remember:

"You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast because he trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord is Rock Eternal" - Isaiah 26:3
