My Jesus I Love Thee Sung By Bart Millard

My Jesus, I love Thee, I know Thou art mine;
For Thee all the follies of sin I resign;
My gracious Redeemer, my Savior art Thou;
If ever I love Thee, my Jesus, 'tis now.

I love Thee because Thou hast first loved me,
And purchased my pardon on Calvary's tree;
I love Thee for wearing the thorns on Thy brow;
(Oh my saviour) If ever I love Thee,
my Jesus, 'tis now.

It is now (if ever I love my Saviour, 'tis now etc)
It is now (if ever I love my Saviour, 'tis now)

In mansions of glory and endless delight,
I'll ever adore Thee in heaven so bright;
I'll sing with the glittering crown on my brow,
If ever I love Thee, my Jesus, 'tis now.

Today has been a roller coaster ride. But the best part up is that this morning we received a wonderful news that Daniel opened his eyes and is getting out of "coma". Joy!

Life is full of ups and downs. It's great to know that Jesus is a constant one - He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow; his love never changes, his promises are forever.

I had been enjoying the Hymns Bart Millard has on YouTube, like "Victory In Jesus" and "I Stand Amazed". I posted both of them in my blog including the lyrics so click the links and sing along. I thought I'd add "My Jesus I Love Thee" here too. It'll be my entry to the "Then Sings My Soul" meme :).

This is a wonderful version of this song. I love hymns. They are what I grew up on. I am just catching up on blog reading and read about Daniel. I will continue to keep him in my prayers. Glad to hear he is waking up.

This was beautiful, hymns are my favorite and we don't get to hear them a lot anymore. Thank-you for sharing and have a blessed day.

Such beautiful words! A good reminder, that the Lord is constant even when our lives are nuts.

Praise God that MIRACLES continue to happen for Daniel! That the fever, infection and any other impending health affect would be changed by the HEALER, the healing hands of Jesus!(btw I was blown away by your rev. on the HEALER song's artist)!

Blessings Liza on a wonderful choice sung beautifully by Bart Millard...a hymn that speaks to each of us who love Jesus like this! Standing in prayer with you!
