Guess How Much I Love You (Repost)

He kissed him goodnight and said:
"I love you right up to the moon ............ and back."

When our son G was just a little baby, hubby (daddyB) used to always read to him every night. One day when daddyB was cruising at Costco, he saw this board book "Guess How Much I Love You". The photo looks cute and so he bought it. It became G's favorite bedtime book.

The first time daddyB read this book to G, daddyB couldn't read the whole book straight. He was teary eyed at the end of the book. Actually , he still gets teary eyed every time he reads this book. It really is a sweet and simple expression of the love between a daddy and a child.

Since then, we also give this book as a baby shower gift. We think every father should have read or read this book. In case you have not read this yet, go to this page to read. I must say though that the illustrations of the book added so much so the story is only half of what it really is.

* This book works for me, especially on Father's Day, so I am sharing it with others at Works For Me Wednesday at Rocks In My Dryer.

I adore this book and so do my kids. We always come back to this book after weeks of reading others.
