I hop around the blogosphere looking on how people oerceive Christmas and what do I always see? Nothing but candies, Santa Clauses, roast ducks, food, more food and that's just about it.

The Rainmaker - I suppose you did not look enough or did not look a the right places. In my blog alone thre are more than just the roast ducks, food and Santa; and then there's this blog:

Sometimes it's where we look that matters; sometimes we only see what we don't want to see but if we open oour eyes and hearts, we can see more...

I am hoping you'd visit this site:

Rainmaker: I agree with Liza's eyeview...You weren't even looking at this picture closely enough...It isn't even about the food...The kids are spending time with each other and their families...the food is just how they happen to be doing it...(and how many of us eat those crappy gingerbread houses anyways..less they are homemade...

You definitely "perceive" Christmas as more than just ducks and candy....

Happy WW and Merry Christmas, Liza!

Bah humbug to the Rainmaker!

Its snow season around here anyway.

I like your picture, the colors are great. I got a chuckle out of the ducks not being eaten. SO thanks and have a Marry and Festive Christmas.
