Congratulations JM!

My nephew JM and his friend David (the two handsome boys in the middle, in their school uniform) won second place is a qualifying round for the National Science Olympiad. He won it on his birthday! I am very happy to hear about this news. I love Science and I was a Science Scholar in High School. This news brought back some good memories :)

Here's the excerpt from my borther's e-mail:

I just want to let you know that JM and his classmates qualified for the national finals of the Science Olympiad they participated in. It was held last Saturday at UP Integrated School (UPIS) in Diliman. There were 20 schools that participated in the qualifying exams in Quezon City testing center. There were 4 more testing centers in Luzon ( La Union, Nueva Vizcaya, Pampanga, Batangas), The first 5 teams who top the exams will represent the Luzon island and will compete with the 5 teams from Visayas and Mindanao. JM's team got the 2nd place next to UPIS( which is the defending national champion). The finals will be on Sept 29 probably at UP Diliman Campus. Thanks for your prayers! It was a wonderful birthday gift for JM since the elimination was held on his birthday, Sept 1.

JM, keep up the good work. We are proud of you and we are praying for your Sept 29th round! Kuya Joseph, Ate Baby and Tita Manding, I am very proud of you too - you're doing a fantastic job raising JM and Josiah :)

That was good news! Me, I'm not so good at this subject. I'm so poor in memorization. Lol!
