Mysterious Mom Blog - Does She Really Have Kids?

I just realized ... (ok, maybe not JUST...maybe a couple of days ago...) that my blog is listed on many Blog directories as a Mom Blog or a Parenting Blog. Honestly, I do not have the time, the energy nor the desire to change them into a Personal Blog or Life In General Blog in all those directories I've listed...therefore moms and parents are still landing or will land in my blog thinking this is a mom/parenting blog.... and I will be the mysterious mom who claimes to be a mom but do not talk about my kids...

The truth is I miss being a Mom Blog or a Parenting Blog. As my post on "5 Obsessive Thoughts I Have" said, I am constantly thinking about my kids...so it's kind of weird that I won't be talking about them on my blog....

However, I am determined to honor my husband's request (for privacy) that I do not blog about out family life, nor our kids, and most especially - I should not blog about my husband (which by the way is what I am doing right now - yikes!)

So, without thinking further...I have decided to remain a mom blog or a parent blog ...but I won't be blogging about our family specifically, but will still discuss parenting issues etc.. How's that sound?

You should do whatever you feel moved to do in your blog! Even though you don't specifically talk about your family, your words are comforting and encouraging for moms. I know I appreciate it.

You're a mama whether we hear about it or not! ;) Thanks for visiting my blog!

Ummm ... I'm not sure if you have your comments turned off on your WFMW post ... but cold sores are related to HSV-1 (a "herpes simplex virus" that is not a STD, but rather a VIRUS) ... not syphilis... I didn't want to post a comment about it, but I can't find your email address anywhere.

I just thought you might want to know, and ... no need to be embarassed -- we all get cold sores! In fact, they say that 90% of ALL adults have had it at one time or another!

I agree that whether or not you blog about being a mom that it definitely shows through. I'd love to learn from your wisdom and be encouraged by your words. We all understand your dear hubbies request and will understand if you don't type specifics. :o)
