I come from a background where divorce is highly discouraged and I never got married intended to choose out through divorce. I'm sure that most people will be surprised to hear about it, but in our case my husband is making choices that are harmful to our family. I thought that with therapy, dedication, and some good ole stick-to-itness, we would make it through. But he's decided that he would rather maintain his destructive behavior than be open and upfront about his choices. In the end, it will be most difficult for my children who are young and don't understand. No one wins in divorce. No one at all.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4843390995683827463.post-44733821475556268762007-08-10T05:22:00.000-10:002007-08-10T05:22:00.000-10:00It is rather sad that divorce has become common. Because the marital institutions is crumbling and a lot of families are affected. Sad for the children and for the couple too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4843390995683827463.post-43671022263673649782007-08-09T06:57:00.000-10:002007-08-09T06:57:00.000-10:00Lots of marriages seem to be falling apart these d...Lots of marriages seem to be falling apart these days no? Here in Sweden most couples don't even get married but just live together. A couple of decades ago, I think children get traumatized by a divorce but it's so common nowadays that kids probably aren't affected as much. And that is sad too.Christiannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04649525987617610322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4843390995683827463.post-18753956329615418162007-08-09T05:41:00.000-10:002007-08-09T05:41:00.000-10:00liza - so sad to hear of a family 'in divorce'. i ...liza - so sad to hear of a family 'in divorce'. i dont know, but my first thoughts would go to the children. i always think when you are in a marriage, everything could be talked about and could be worked on together and helped with prayers and counselling. but with abuse, i guess that would be another story. let's pray for the couple and their kid.raqgoldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09483100839729445236noreply@blogger.com
