Trash Tango, 27 Fling Boogie, or Declutter HipHop - Whatever ... They Work!

We had a good weekend this past weekend. Busy but good (I'll share more later). Hubby took the kids out camping on Friday night together with K and his kids. It was great because I was able to de-clutter without interruptions. C was also happy that K took their kids camping. She got a lot done too.

I started a little post last Saturday but didn't get around to finishing it. Then I remembered that today (actually tomorrow) is Tackle It Tuesday day, and I got excited about sharing this accomplishment with you. The italic post below is what I wrote last Saturday, followed by photos. I'll be doing the tango, the boogie and the hip hop again - it works! If I do this regularly, my house would be clutter free!

Declutter! Yes, I am decluttering! I am doing such a great job that I thought I'd reward myself with some blogging time. Oh yes, a blogger's gotta blog this important event. Correction: A disorganized domestically challenged blogger gotta blog the success she's having in de-cluttering. Yes, I've got to.

The truth is I'm starting to lose my momentum is decluttering and will be shifting to tackling the laundry pretty soon. I've started putting them in the wash, but there's tons of laundry to fold.

Here the the photos. Actually this is just a part of what I decluttered. There are more not shown in the photos. Thanks to the clutter fairy, the clutter slowly disappeared.

  3. This is so funny, because I just wrote a post how I wish the fabric organizing fairy would come to my house. I wonder if she is related to the clutter fairy. :)

  4. That's a lot of stuff gone. You have got me wondering what was in the containers before you got rid of it all though.

  11. Wow! Now you only have containers for clutter!

I've got the whole dining room filled with plastic boxes holding photographs. I can't throw them away and I can't seem to put them in albums. I'm afraid I'm going to have to put them back in the closet....

Thanks for the inspiration. Maybe I'll tackle one box every other day or something. The problem is they aren't in chronological order so it's hard to put them in albums. I may just have to get over that.

Please send the clutter fairy this way!

    Congratulations!
