The teaching was great (on the book of Hosea, the minor prophet,on unconditional love) but I was fighting sleepiness all throughout the preaching. I usually sit in front (2nd row) so I am pretty sure our pastor saw me dozing off (like eyes closed asleep) several times.

Once in a while I do skip church to "rest". I decided not to skip today since there's a holiday coming on Tuesday. I spent more "quality time" with the kids after church - many chores are still waiting to be done but I am ok. Hubby bought Kung Fu Panda DVD so we are all going to watch it tonight. I might fold the laundry while watching ;)

THANKS Jamie (Blondmomblog) for your encouragement.

Now I am curious if farmer files skipped church... I'll go to her blog and check ;)Liza on Mauihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03051821265972125935noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4843390995683827463.post-27120437063978134672008-11-09T16:19:00.000-10:002008-11-09T16:19:00.000-10:00I'm anxious to hear if you decided to skip or not....I'm anxious to hear if you decided to skip or not. I will tell you, no matter how stressed or behind I have been I have never regretted the choice to go once I get there.

Praying for you, Liza. I ...I totally understand where you are coming from. I "only" work 30 hours a week and 22 of those are in the office. Fridays (thank God!) I get to work from home. But I always feel there is more more piling up!

I've started saying no to any outside volunteer things that are unnecessary and that has helped immensely. I also try to have days where we have nothing planned. We skipped church today, but every once in a while I think you just need a day to veg! (And in reality I'm doing about 5 loads of wash!)

Hang in there!BlondeMomBlog (Jamie)https://www.blogger.com/profile/11678207937709971411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4843390995683827463.post-32910172263592326812008-11-09T06:43:00.000-10:002008-11-09T06:43:00.000-10:00This came just as I am contemplating skipping chur...This came just as I am contemplating skipping church....The Farmer Fileshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14560236942591463886noreply@blogger.com
