Thankful Thursday

This is one of those post... one of those post when I would just type away without any plan. I'll just let it flow because if I don't, I'd get stuck with trying to come up with a brilliant post, only to find out that I do not have a brilliant thing to say. I just want to ramble....

Still am shock over the news about Joey. I am constantly praying for his family. I am helping manage a blog that our church set up for them, and what a blessing it is to be able to do that. And then I remember that today is Thankful Thursday. So, that's one of my "Thankful Thursday" thankfulness today.

School is almost over. Summer vacation is here. We are thankful. My son would say a loud "amen" to this! Yes, this is my Thankful Thursday number 2.

Father's Day is almost here. I am planning to do some posts on Father's Day. I did that last year too. Kinda like the "Mothers Day Series", only lesser post because it's almost here. Click here to see some of the older father's day posts. And so, this is my 3rd Thankful list. Thank you Lord for Fathers.

I've got to go now. Chores are awaiting. For more Thankful Thursday posts, visit Iris at Sting My Heart.

Dear Liza,

Thank you - for doing the Joey Johnson & Family blog.

It is a great source of comfort for Joe & Karen & family & friends.

Have known & loved Joe & Karen for 33+ years. We just spent 4+ days with Joey and all the Johnson crew in Oahu...Psalm 116:15...

I have a thought & suggestion for you & Joe & Karen & Hope Chapel.

The Calif & Maui - Joey Johnson memorial services will be held in churches with audio sound & recording systems.

Let's record them and upload these services to the Joey Johnson blog.

That way "many" who can not attend either service - will be touched by God's grace & healing power - by hearing these services.

Many will eventually come to hear & know the LORD - through the message of "HOPE" shared in these services.

You are probably preparing & already going to do just that...

It's the little things, isn't it? Remembering to be thankful in all circumstances really helps me to find those little things and give God thanks.

Thanks for sharing, Liza! Have a blessed day!
