Aloha! Welcome to My Little Corner of the Ultimate Blog Party!

**Update: Problem in server fixed! 5 minutes for Mom is up and running! Let's Party! ***

Aloha! Thank you for visiting my blog. I am glad you stopped by. I'm Liza and yes, Liza's Eyeview is my blog. This party post will be short, then I'll leave it up to you to look around and explore this little blog of mine (hint - look at the links in my sidebar). Feel at home!

And speaking of feeling at home, I live on Maui...and here we always give leis to visitors and loved ones visiting our home. So consider your self "lei'd" :) Here's the lei I am going to give you when you physically come to Maui. But for now, accept this as a cyber lei:

Before I forget, I want to mention that this blog is giving away a $60 Gift Certificate to Mikarose. Mikarose is an online store of elegant modest dresses. You should visit this store - it's great! The GC is listed in the official prize list at 5 Minutes For Mom Ultimate Blog party Prize so make sure you choose it on your comment. I encourage you to visit Mikarose and start choosing which dress you'd buy when you win. Sometimes thinking positive helps :)

OK, I told you this is going to be short, but it's getting longer already. I will probably update this tomorrow, but for now, I'll leave it up to you to look around.

And since party most of the time have cakes, I thought I'd put a photo of cakes made on Maui. Aren't the cakes below so cute? They are made by Maui Wedding Cakes. They didn't know I provided a link here to their site. If you go there, you'll see a lot more photos of fun tropical designed cakes. Maybe if they notice a lot of traffic going there from here, they'd send me a cake ;)

Maui Wedding Cakes, Maui Theme

Don't forget to leave me a comment to let me know you stopped by. I'd be sending a little gift to one commenter drawn at random :)

This is probably the dumbest thing you'll read all week but,... there is a song they paly on the radio at Christmas which goes something like da da da about how they say Merry Christmas in Hawaii. Is there a special saying you really use?

Have a great party.

Wow what hospitality! The cakes look fabulous, I agree they should send you one for the traffic they generated lol! I'm trying to figure out how I can recreate them. Just for fun, I had my daughter put on her "plastic lei, and hula skirt", and dance for me. So I hope that added a little to the party. She soooo badly wants to go to Hawaii, although we've told her time and again, she won't see Lilo and Stitch there. Go figure? Take care --
