Works For Me Wed: Black Pants From Savers

Last time I checked, the Linky List for this week's edition of Rocks In My Dryer is at 72 already... and it's only now I am typing my post! I have several "works for me" in mind right now ... including how "massage" works well for me as a "f**ep*ay"... but let's not go there... (one of these days I'd really do a post on that...ha!)

Back to this week's edition of WFMW, let me just say a black Gap stretch pants bought at Savers (the thrift store) worked for me today! I bought this pants to match the blouse I wore on this "best 5oth birthday party" and since I already bought it, I decided to use it today for work. Instead of the green flowered bloused on the 50th party I wore this old shirt that we bought from the Indiana Jones store in Disneyland 3 years ago.

When I entered our office, one of our officemate said "Oh, you look nice today". Then on another incident, another co-worker said "you look nice today", and another co-worker agreed "yeah, you look good". Lastly, my boss even said to me today "you look good today".

OK, maybe it's because most of the time I come to work in jeans and Roxykind T-shirts, and so when I wore this nice Gap pants they thought I look nice. But the truth is when I looked at myself in the full length mirror this morning, even I thought "oh, this pants and shirt looks good on me".

Guess what I'd be wearing again and again until it wears out :) And to think that I bought it from Savers for $6.00. Yes, six dollars - almost new! Now, this is what I call I good buy! so my tip is "buy a black pants that fits you well" - you'd get compliments for it. If you don't have the budget, get one from the thrift store - sometimes they work magic! ;)
