October 15 - today is the day BLOG ACTION DAY when bloggers unite to talk about our environment. We desire to make an impact for a better world.I have been working in a development and building industry for 10 years now, and it's only in the last couple of years that I have seen such enthusiasm on the part of developers and builders on "going green". I am excited about this - that the big developers are going green, and more and more builders (big and small) are getting involved in the protection of the environment and our natural resources.
For example, in our current subdivision, each of the houses has "Solar Water Heater" installed. A few years ago, it was just an option, but now it's our standard. Our boss is even exploring the possibilities of Photovoltaic powers and or using wind power (windmills). We had been researching, educating ourselves. Let's go green - way to go!
