Honoring Father and Mother

"Honor your father and mother, as the Lord has commanded you...." Deutoronomy 5:16

Thank you Lord for Tatay (my Dad). For his leadership and tender heart. My dad is the first who became a Christian in our family. He prayed for all of us and one by one we came to know the Lord personally. He is a prayer warrior. He is the most hardworking person I know, and his loyalty to his former employer (he's retired now) is beyond what they can ask for. He is very loving and patient to my mom as well as to us kids. He was a good provider. He is a Godly man. Thank you Lord for my Dad.

Thank you Lord for Nanay (my Mom). For her sacrificial love and thoughtfulness
. My mom is a very loving mom. As I was growing up, I went through a pre-teen years when I passively rebelled from her, yet Nanay never gave up on me. There are many tender memories I have with my mom. And now that I am a mom myself, I am even more appreciative of her.

Thank you Lord for Mom (Donna, my mother-in-law). For her courage and support. She has always been good to me. She is a very strong woman. She lost her first husband, my hubby's dad, when their kids (2 boys) were teenagers and she raised her them well. After 6 years, she re-married and live happily..then several years ago lost her second husband. I pray that you will comfort her in this time of loneliness and depression.
